This policy explains what personal information WABi Windows collects through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we are

WABi Windows is a Perth-based, Australian-owned supplier of aluminium windows and doors, part of The WABi Group. ABN 87 154 501 970. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean WABi Windows.

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect what you enter in the quote builder:

your name, email address, phone number and suburb
whether you are a homeowner, builder, designer or developer, and details of your project (type, timing, supply or supply and installation, bushfire rating and distance from the ocean)
the windows and doors on your list, with sizes and options
any plans, window schedules, energy reports or photos you upload, and any notes you add

If you call or email us, we keep the details you give us so we can respond.

Your quote list is also saved in your own web browser so it is still there when you come back. It stays on your device and is not sent to us until you submit your request. You can clear it by removing the items or clearing your browser data.

Why we collect it

We use your information to prepare your quote, contact you about it, check-measure and supply your windows and doors, arrange installation in Perth if you ask for it, and keep records of our work. We do not sell your personal information, and we will not add you to a marketing list without your agreement.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when we need to in order to quote or deliver your order, or when the law requires it. This may include:

suppliers, transport companies and installers who help us prepare or fulfil your order, given only what they need for that job
the companies that host and run this website and our email
your builder or designer, if you ask us to work with them

Some of these service providers may store information on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

Website analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. It uses cookies and collects information like your browser type, pages visited and approximate location, but not your name or contact details. The site also includes tools from HubSpot that may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Keeping your information secure

Quote requests and uploaded files are stored on our website, which is only accessible to authorised WABi staff. Uploaded files are saved with unguessable names. We keep your information for as long as we need it for your quote, your order and our legal and warranty obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
